Pool Party FAQs
What is Pool Party?
Pool Party is Send's decentralized exchange (DEX) on Canton Network. It uses an Automated Market Maker (AMM) model — trades execute against liquidity pools rather than a traditional order book.
What are the trading fees?
Trading fees vary by pool and are collected on each swap. The fee is a percentage of the trade amount and is distributed to liquidity providers. Check the pool details in the app for current fee tiers.
What is slippage?
Slippage is the difference between the expected price and the actual execution price. Larger trades relative to pool size will experience more slippage. Pool Party shows estimated slippage before you confirm a swap.
How does the USDC bridge work?
Pool Party includes a built-in bridge to move USDC from Ethereum to Canton Network as USDCx. Connect your Ethereum wallet, enter the amount, confirm the transaction, and USDCx arrives in your Canton Wallet once the transaction finalizes. No external bridge tools required.
How long does bridging take?
Bridge times depend on Ethereum network congestion. Typically, USDCx arrives in your Canton Wallet within a few minutes after the Ethereum transaction confirms.
What is USDCx?
USDCx is USDC bridged from Ethereum to Canton Network. It maintains a 1:1 peg with USDC and can be swapped for CUSD or $CC on Pool Party.
Can I lose money providing liquidity?
Yes. Liquidity provision involves risks including:
- Impermanent loss — if the relative price of paired assets changes, your position may be worth less than simply holding
- Smart contract risk — funds are held in smart contracts that may contain vulnerabilities
- Market risk — the assets themselves may decrease in value
You should only provide liquidity with funds you can afford to lose.
Do I need KYC to use Pool Party?
No. Pool Party is non-custodial and permissionless. No identity verification is required to swap, bridge, or provide liquidity.
What tokens can I trade?
Pool Party currently supports three pairs: CC/CUSD, CC/USDCx, and USDCx/CUSD. New pairs will be added as the ecosystem grows. See the Liquidity Pairs page for details.
How do I access Pool Party?
Pool Party is available through Send Canton Wallet. You need a Canton Wallet with a passkey set up to access it. Visit poolparty.fun to get started.
Is Pool Party audited?
Pool Party is built on Canton Network's smart contract infrastructure. For information about security practices, reach out through the Send app or community channels.
